1. Overview of the Project

UCG KK specializes in developing and providing automated parking payment solutions using proprietary AIoT platforms and image recognition technology. We envision parking spaces becoming future mobility hubs. Our goal is to contribute to transforming sustainable urban mobility, starting from parking facilities.
Key Services
AI Camera License Plate Recognition
Our AI cameras achieve approximately 99.3% accuracy in recognizing license plates. Beyond plate numbers, they can identify vehicle color, type, and manufacturer. When integrated with gate systems, the technology allows for automatic gate operations and seamless automatic payments for registered vehicles.
Driver Web Application "UrbanPass"
Through our dedicated web application, drivers can register their vehicle numbers and payment methods. This enables them to enter and exit equipped parking facilities without stopping at gates, similar to ETC systems. Users can also scan receipts from commercial establishments via the app to automatically apply parking fee waivers or discounts.
Operator Portal "UrbanPortal"
"UrbanPortal" allows parking operators to remotely monitor, manage, and analyze their facilities. By examining user behavior and facilitating collaborative promotions with nearby businesses, we help maximize profits from parking lots. The system can also detect unauthorized parking using AI camera data and send automatic notifications.
(2) Purpose of the Project
To further enhance our advanced AI image recognition technology, we are conducting a pilot project utilizing idle land owned by Kitakyushu City. The objectives are:
Install cameras to capture vehicle information using AI image analysis.
Develop and operate a cashless parking lot with minimal equipment.

Location: 4-23-28 Shimosone, Kokura Minami Ward, Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture

No use of traditional equipment like gates, locking plates, or payment machines
Cashless payments facilitated by AI cameras
Fully automatic payments from the second use onward for registered users, eliminating manual payment actions
(4) Payment Process
AI cameras in the parking lot capture entering vehicle information.
Parking fees are calculated based on the duration of stay.
Upon exit, drivers scan a QR code in the parking lot using their smartphones.
They enter the numeric portion (1-4 digits) of their license plate.
Payment is completed by entering payment information.
After initial registration, users can enjoy automatic payments from their second visit onward.
Payment processing is handled securely through a payment agency's system.
