UrbanChain Group Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce the launch of its QR code-based cashless prepayment parking management service at JQ Parks Watanabe-dori 2-chome, operated by JR Kyushu Rent-A-Car & Parking Co., Ltd. in Fukuoka City. The first site opened on June 1, 2025.
About the New Smart Parking Service
UrbanChain’s innovative parking system enables drivers to complete all parking payments and procedures via a simple QR code scan, eliminating the need for tickets or cash. The process is as follows:
Scan the QR code displayed at the parking lot with a smartphone.
Enter the vehicle license plate number.
Select the parking duration (fixed rates by time).
Choose a payment method and complete the transaction online.
Download or receive a receipt via email.
This system is seamlessly integrated with the JR Kyushu Rent-A-Car & Parking app, providing a smooth, cashless experience for users.

The Watanabe-dori 2-chome area is a vibrant business and commercial district in central Fukuoka, with high demand for short-term parking. The region is undergoing rapid redevelopment, and parking operators are seeking efficient, revenue-generating solutions.
